Borghoff, the Great Great Grandson of Joseph and Caroline
Garrison Peene. Joseph and Caroline built a home at 150 Warburton Ave in 1870 and it stands to this day although it was sold
out of their family around 1918. If you lived in Yonkers at the turn of the last century, the Peene name would have been known

The prominent Peene Family dominated river transportation in Yonkers for four generations. One family
